I jumped around in heels all night and had throbbing feet for 3 days…but it was so worth it…

Doug at Dougie Jam Productions was recommended by a friend, and Doug has been in the business for over 20 years. As he said, with ipods and the internet anybody can say they are a DJ, but experience will really show when you actually hire one. Boy was he right! As a typical couple, we were pretty heavy on song requests. We like rock music mostly, but knew we would play some top 40 in the later half. He knows what people want and he advised that we should be prepared that what we like may not get people on the dance floor. Regardless of how many times I have dances and screamed to “Pour some sugar on me”, that and others was not getting people on the floor like we thought. We quickly adjusted and told Dougie to do what he does best and read the audience and play what he knows people like…and sure enough 10 minutes later the dance floor raged on from then until midnight when the venue kicked us out…Phew that was close! Next time I will listen to him and what they say! Although I will stick by my request of No line dances…He still did not do them and no one complained, so I still think Norm and I were right when we knew our friends would not do them :-)…

He has an interactive web site were you can enter your wedding info as well as music requests. He also provides ample suggestions for songs for various parts of the night (like father dance, etc.). He has the latest equipment and just an all round nice guy. He is reasonable priced and I promise you he will not disappoint.

Doug-Thanks for playing such great music that I jumped around in heels all night and had throbbing feet for 3 days… but it was so worth it…
